Emmet County is located in the northwestern tip of Michigan’s lower peninsula, on the sunset side of Michigan. Our main towns are the communities of Petoskey (the county seat), Harbor Springs, Bay Harbor, Alanson, Pellston, and a portion of Mackinaw City.
