On March 26, 2017, the Emmet County Sheriff’s Office received information from the Charlevoix County Sheriff’s Office, that a possible criminal incident, which recently occurred in Boyne City, involving Child Sexually Abuse Activity, may have occurred in Emmet County, according to Sheriff Pete Wallin. Emmet County Sheriff’s Office deputies initiated an investigation into the matter, which allegedly occurred in Bay View, in Bear Creek Township. The investigation revealed that Benoni Jonathon Enciso, age 49, Boyne City, MI, allegedly videotaped four underage teenagers, while they were showering and undressing. This alleged incident occurred back in July thru September of 2015.
The Emmet County Prosecutor Office has issued a 20 count felony warrant on Enciso; he was charged with 4 counts of Child Sexually Abusive Activity, 4 counts of Capturing/Distributing Image of Unclothed Person, 4 counts of Child Sexually Abusive Material/Possession, 4 counts of Using a Computer to Commit A Crime – Produce or Production of Child Sexually Abusive Activity Material, 4 counts of Using a Computer to Commit a Crime – Possession of Child Sexually Abuse Material.
Enciso is scheduled to be arraigned in 90th District on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 8:25 a.m.
